Then came the Tea at the White House, where President and Mrs. Roosevelt personally greeted us and told us how happy they were to see us, and how they wished that all of the Warm Springs family could have been present.

At midnight, we rumbled out of the city on the homeward trail, and arrived back in Warm Springs the next evening.
